How can we help?

Answers to the questions people ask most, and how to reach a person when they don’t cover yours.
Contact us
Email hello@mereka.io and a person will read it. Tell us the email address on your account, which device you were using, and what you were trying to do — that is enough to start. We never ask for your password.
On iPhone, turning on Settings → Share diagnostics before you write lets us see the error codes behind a failed card set-up, without anything that is on your card.
Signing in
You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with your email and password. Forgot your password? Use I have forgotten my password on the sign-in screen and we will email you a link.
If Apple or Google says your email already has an account, sign in the way you did before, then add Apple or Google under Settings → Sign-in methods. We never join accounts silently.
Cards and NFC tags
A card is private until you publish it; once published it lives at your own address on cards.mereka.io. To set up a physical Mereka card, publish your card first, then choose Set up a Mereka card and hold the top of your iPhone against it until it confirms.
Anyone who taps it sees your public card in their browser — no app or account needed — and can save your contact or choose to share theirs. Lost one? Turn off your Mereka cards on that card and they stop opening it at once.
Organisations
If your organisation manages your card, its owners and admins decide its design and which fields you can change, and may need to approve changes before they go live. Ask them first; if they cannot help, write to us.
Your data and closing your account
You can close your account in the app under Settings → Close your account, or in the console on your account page. Your cards go offline immediately and your account is erased after a short cooling-off period, during which you can change your mind.
Shared your details with someone’s card and want them removed? Use the withdrawal link from the confirmation you were shown, or write to us. The Privacy Policy explains what we hold and why.
